The appliqué charity quilt called Mother Goose Nursey Rhymes by Kookaburra Cottage Quilts is now a flimsy after deciding NoT to add the borders.
It's going to a Pre School as a wall hanging so the size without borders is perfect.
I'll be giving it to our Guild to finish it now - well after a good PRESS anyways...
but I'll get it back to add the binding.
I was asked to make an adult Book Pillow for DD#2 friend.
This one measures 20 inch square & has a zip closing back.
And after playing on TeeNa... I pieced & used the quilt-as-you-go method on the long arm frame, to make a quilt. Using my electronic channel lock was a dream & so I used lots of straight lines to get quality practise. The tension was great & the FMQ was simple but very acceptable, so for my FiRST attempt using a long arm I was EXTReMeLy pleased.

Such a cute kids donation quilt.
Great first job of quilting on Teena.
Great finish on the Mother Goose quilt top. That is going to look wonderful in the pre-school. What a fun item for them.
I am pleased the quilting worked out so well for you. Nothing can stop your quilting now.
