Before dinner last night, I managed to sew together another row in a charity quilt.

Later... after finishing packing our caravan, I managed to add a few more stitches to my Christmas embroidery project too.

In fact... I finished  the Letter "T".

a charity "string" quilt, but this will be last (for awhile anyways) of this type of QAYG quilt.
Not that I've used ALL my scraps... but I need to do something different next time.

Another Finish

I've officially marked another project off my WOOFA list...✅

Working On Or Finishing A... project.

My Drunkards Path quilt (that was in lock down) will be ready for an August birthday.
After finding the border & perfect backing fabric, I sent it away earlier this month.
Miss Julie worked her quilting magic & after adding the binding all I need to do is hand sew the binding back. I'll do this on my upcoming caravan holiday...🧵
I made a label earlier too... so that will be stitched on then as well...

PreTTy in PiNK

Starting a new project is always FuN isn't it...
I love playing with fabric & scissors & making a MeSS... ✀
I also especially LoVe sewing applique shapes...
So... after combining NeW... FabRiC... MeSS... & AppLique...

I now have a 26 inch x 32 inch P.I.C.U cot flimsy... (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit).

AnD ... don't ya just LoVe when narrow trams/sashing nest seams so tidily...

I also pinned it late last night too..

I'll do some simple quilting in the next few days... add the binding... then add it to the box of charity quilts that are waiting to be delivered.

Last Night

Week 12... & the LasT ISO Week

This will be my final post as a weekly-wrap-up of my time in ISO.
Lets all try to keep a distance & continue to stay safe...BuT... freedom feels great.

In the Cubbyhole this week...
My sewing started with "string" blocks... & 35 of 35  have now been completed ...

Another block in the Christmas Tree Skirt was completely finished too...

"Comet" has now been added to the train...

I could only find 2 skeins of floss...😢... but at least I can keep working on the project until I can buy/order more... so... another letter "S" has been finished...

And PiNK is the RSC2o2o colour for June... so I made 2 chain link blocks...
This is a GReAT way for me to use up those small scraps of fabric ...

FNwF AgaiN

It's time for June's second Friday Night with Friends...

I managed to finish off the letter A on a Christmas project last night.

I also started another letter too... but now I'm out of floss...👀😢
