Last week - Oh so much can change in a short period of time - a fellow member of the Novocastrian Quilters Guild donated blocks already cut & the joining strips, which I volunteered to put together.
I looked in my stash & luckily found suitable backing fabric.
I didn't however have any fabric for the binding (to match the sashing) so that will wait until the shops reopen after this lockdown.
This flimsy will be quilted by another member of the guild & then donated.
It will finish at 44in x 64in... a simple quilt - in a brick pattern.

One of those maximum effect for minimum effort projects. It looks good. Maybe a scrappy binding?
Its lovely Cheryll....stay safe xx
Really looks stunning
It turned out good. That's nice of you to donate your time for a donatin quilt.
The donated blocks and washing have grown into a lovely quilt.
So nice when many help to make a nice donation quilt.
Some nice bricklaying skills there. Great team effort on the whole quilt.
All the best for your lockdown. I hope it does the job, and you can get out again soon.
Lovely blocks... sometimes the simple design is just perfect to show off the fabrics..... great joint effort by the guild...

Lovely to see the quilt top easily come together. Definitely many hands making this one.
