I feel like I’ve been MIA for the past few weeks...
Hubby had Covid, then he fell off a ladder, he’s OK...but still repairing broken ribs...
Easter happened & a wonderful couple of days spent with FaMiLy, camping, relaxing & just enjoying each others company. I also had the pleasure of my new GD & her mummy for 21/2 weeks... so NoT a lot of sewing happened in the cubbyhole... or even blog reading for that matter... but I should be back to my normal routine now after more time was spent away last weekend.๐๐ฅณ
So catching up....
DD needed a large “boxed base” pouch... so I made her one.
Pink was last months RSC22 colour so...
two PiNK cats were made...
two PiNK cats were made...
I finished preparing the "hearts" by fusing them onto donated fabric.
I'll be appliqueing them using my machines blanket stitch soon.
These will eventually turn into a child's charity quilt.
AnD... I forgot to show you the silk scarf I painted while on retreat in March...
My pastel "roses" are really pretty even though this pic doesn't show colours well, but I'm very HaPPy with the finished scarf...๐
Thank you Chris for showing us the technique.
And as April has ended... it's OPAM time...
I finished 17 items this month... includes the 10 bags for Days for Girls...
& you can visit Kris at OPAM... HeRe.
