We are making Lori Holt's BLooM quilt that was on offer in 2016.
We will be sharing our blocks at a LiNKy  PaRTy
on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays in the MonTH.

It's a FREE pattern available HeRe.
The finished quilt measures 60 in x 72 in ... using 12inch  x 12inch blocks.
Of course you can make your quilt larger by adding extra blocks or more or wider borders.
The blocks are all applique with added pieced sashings too.
You can use your preferred method...i.e.,  machine or hand needle turn applique...  OR
using the shapes & vliesofix, you could use the fusible method too.
The decision is yours...

Requirements... as per Lori Holt's original Sew-Along 60 inch x 72 inch sized quilt.
Approx 20 x fat 1/8's of fabric.
Background fabric: 1.3m
Border fabric:  95cm
Binding fabric: 60cm.
Backing fabric: 3.45m.
Lightweight Interfacing.

1/4 inch Bias Tape Maker... optional
You will need to purchase Lori Holts' SEW SIMPLE SHAPES "Bloom" design.

You can read all about the quilt from Lori Holt herself... over HeRe.
Lori also offers tutorials on her applique method too...

There are no quilt police here... we all just encourage each other...
So if you are like me and missed out on the 2016 SAL... here is your chance to make a pretty cute quilt with lots of encouragement along the way to keep you motivated.
